The Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP) consultation period for a new cemetery at CARNARVON Golf Course finishes on 19th October 2025.

Survey and submission responses to Metropolitan Memorial Parkis (MMP) are being collated by SEC NEWGATE AUSTRALIA (and NATIONAL FIELD SERVICE) on behalf of Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP). SEC NEWGATE AUSTRALIA (and NATIONAL FIELD SERVICE) will write a report for Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP) by the end of November.

Then Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP) will make a recommendation to NSW Government Minister for Lands (and Minister for Multiculturalism) STEVE KAMPER. Minister STEVE KAMPER will make a decision on whether to proceed with the Metropolitan Memorial Parks proposal for a new cemetery at CARNARVON Golf Couse by the end of December 2025 or early 2026.

The petition for NSW Parliament organised by Member for AUBURN LYNDA VOLTZ has achieved around 11,000 signatures and will be debated in NSW Parliament on 13th November 2025. This is separate to the Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP) survey and submissions.
