Potential Alternative to Rookwood Cemetery Expansion at Carnarvon Golf Course is the expansion of the Eastern Suburbs Cemetery at Botany Golf Course
Metropolitan Memorial Parks (MMP) has never explained why it removed Botany Golf Course as an option for increasing burial space in Sydney. It appears Minister for Lands Steve Kamper instructed MMP to also consider Botany Golf Course, but this was removed as an option prior to the consultation on Carnarvon Golf Course only.
